Partnership Announcement– August 2020. Shepherd Care, a non-profit organization established by Eric Kieselbach in 2009 to “care for people where they live and work,” has established a partnership with Creative Music and Entertainment, a company that has as it’s mission to guide others to explore music, the arts, and other life enriching services in a way consistent with how they were created.
Founded by Chris Pickett in 2007, Creative Music’s philosophy includes: an emphasis on people not products, an approach that is positive, encouraging, and fun, and teaching that guides students to love and enjoy music.
Chris Pickett’s experience includes over 25 years of music teaching and music ministry as well as 8 years of directing a full-time music and arts studio. Creative Music currently has nearly 90 students and as well as 7 sub-contractor/instructors.
Creative Music’s new collaboration with Shepherd Care will allow them to go beyond instruction and into personal care and training of students, their families, and even those not currently involved in their programs.

- If you are active on Ebay, you can start selling for Shepherd Care through Ebay’s Charity Auctions. You specify the a dollar amount of the sale to send to our organization.

Partnership Announcement– November 2016. Shepherd Care, a non-profit organization that serves the people of the Martinsville and Henry County communities and beyond, has contracted with Logan Harr for the position of Volunteer Care Coordinator, founder Eric Kieselbach announced today.
Harr, a graduate of Penn Foster High School, holds a certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University. He has organized volunteer groups at Martinsville Speedway for the past seven years, assisting the speedway in various aspects of operation and in his new role will continue to do the same.
“I’m very excited to have Logan in this position,” Kieselbach said. “Logan has worked with us for the past two years and to be able to have him as a partner is great. He has the relationships, attention to detail, and dedication every employer wants on their team. Logan’s new position will allow him to serve other companies and organizations by coordinating events, providing leadership, and more.”
“We’ve relied heavily on Logan during any event we put on,” Martinsville Speedway Vice President of Operations Matt Brannock said. “He has always come through for us, and done so with a smile on his face. It’s great to work with him and I can’t think of a better person for this role.”
Shepherd Care’s partnership with Martinsville Speedway raises resources to support athletic programs throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
“I’m really excited for this opportunity and thankful that Eric has the trust in me to do this job,” Harr said. “I am passionate about what I do and serving other people and this role allows me to do just that.”

Shepherd Care is now participating with the Kroger Community Rewards Program. Participants can begin enrolling online.
• Simply register online at krogercommunityrewards.com
• Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy and register your card with your organization after you sign up.
• If a member does not yet have a Kroger Plus card, please let them know that they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
• Click on Sign In/Register
• Most participants are new online customers, so they must click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
• Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions
• You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
• Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
• Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.
• Update or confirm your information.
• Enter NPO number or name of organization, 89365, then select organization the Shepherd Care from list and click on confirm.
• To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
• REMEMBER, purchases will not count for your group until after your member(s) register their card(s).
• Do you use your phone number at the register? Call 800-576-4377, select option 4 to get your Kroger Plus card number.
• Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count.

SHEPHERD CARE PARTNERS WITH 6 WHEELS CONSULTING TO PROVIDE SENSITIVITY, DISABILITY, AND RESPECT SEMINARS– November 2016
Shepherd Care, a non-profit organization established by Eric Kieselbach in 2009 to care, encourage, inspire, edify, counsel and support people in the community, has established a partnership with 6 Wheels Consulting, a company that strives to educate and strengthen the public’s understanding of the culture of disability.
Founded by Matthew Shapiro, 6 Wheels Consulting’s mission is to educate people about disability culture as well as raise awareness about the issues that affect the people with disabilities population. Shapiro has been actively involved in numerous disability and youth related boards, organizations, and programs – tirelessly sharing his knowledge and experience through a variety of public speaking engagements across the country. He has also worked with the Virginia Advocates United Leading Together (VAULT), the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities, the Virginia Department of Education, just to name a few.
“6 Wheels Consulting, LLC is delighted to announce this exciting new collaboration with Shepherd Care. Eric’s mission to care for people where they live and work is the heart of community.
